Tyre Size For 17x7 Rims

I'm planning to change the tyres on my sister's car and not sure which tyre size i should be getting. its for a 17x7 rim on an r32 gts.

the rear currently has... 235/45/17 and front 215/45/17 .. so i don't know if i should keep it like that or change it.

I wouldn't go any wider than 235 on a 7" rim.

225/45/r17 would be a better fit for 17 x 7 inch wide rims imo.

hrmz.. thanks.. i will probably go the 225/45/17 then.. cause i got 235 on mine and its 8.5" so it just doesn't sound right.

for a 7 inch rim you shouldnt have a 235 on it, thats just toooooo wide
