post-9261-1182214790_thumb.jpgG'day guys....

I was thinking about putting my old 95 GTST front bar and 'louvre' grill on ebay, as I now have a Trust bar on my car.

It is complete (indicator lenses, globe holders) and in good condition, even if it wasn't re-sprayed.

Guys, I'm just wondering what I could (should) be asking for it....

thankyoooooooo....

Di (and Superspit.)

man, you always ask us for advice, for things we cannot advise you on,

how much is it worth to you? think about that, come up with a price that you want, and advertise it!

remember, an item is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. look around in the for sale section, guage your price on that, use the search function. i don't really see how this is relevant to the section.

I always ask for advice on things you can't advise on?????.....um....no....I think you've got the wrong 'member' Mr Eps!!! :laughing-smiley-014:

I've exhausted all avenues prior to selling this bar, and this forum has helped me a lot with my current selection.

So there it is...

I understand your point on 'willing to pay for it', but please, there is no need to be so troublesome...hehehe. :sorcerer:

anyway,

Thankyou and regards,

Superspit.

... it was you that wanted to eat lunch on 5c a week haha

i wouldn't bother putting it on ebay, just use the for sale section on the forum and go from there, someone out there must have a lunched front bum[er

ah ha!.....now I understand YOUR mis-understanding..... :laughing-smiley-014:

that wasn't me bro!!.... :D

though i did enjoy reading that topic...it was funny...I wonder if that guy was actually just having a lend??? :D

Still, even though you are totally incorrect on what you wrote, (5 cent a week?) and thus your joke didn't work, I will thank you sincerely for your time!..and your suggestion on a forum sale.

ahhhh....I love this place! :laughing-smiley-014:

Kindest Regards,

Superspit.

dude your mums hot :)

still got them 4 door lights i see :(

thanx man....yeh, she's K...(for a mum)...hehehe...you bugger!

Lights?..Yeah...I really like them now that you told me that they shouldn't be on my car!!.....it's different!

Thanx.

spit.

How'd you get the nick spit/superspit?

Hi T33,

it was from the Supermarine Spitfire aircraft of WW2. (abbrev)

It's my favourite thing in the whole wide world!...other than my daughters and my car and my '69 Fender Telecaster.

And...I can spit really far, further than most spitting things.

And, thankyou for asking.

Spit.

try calling auto spares places and ask them how much it will cost to buy the parts your selling. this place wanted me to swap my S1 M-spec frontand give them $250 for a S2 front bar with a dent and without rio, then told me that my M-SPEC front bar was rare and he'd sell it for $600 (what a d!ckhe@d's)so what ever there lowest swap price is i'd sell it for that? just an idea.

Good luck mate,

Aif

New retail from nissan is $800 .. so $300 reserve I rekon

Are you serious?

I'm gunna have to check that at work tomorrow.....

That seems excessively high when a Pajero bar is 3 times the size and only costs about $800-900. Although that could be a trade price.......

I'd say somewhere around 200-300 for a good condition second hand stock bar.

you also have to consider the fact that your nissan fb is plastic whereas a lot of the aftermarket ones are fibreglass copies. therefore i rekon you should atleast ask a price equal to that of the aftermarket bars
