Found this Japanese company that makes bodykits.

They're called Cross-Factory and make one particular kit for the 4 door R34 that is my personal fave.

Would love to get one, does anyone know about fit and quality of these kits?

Also if I did order them from Japan, do bodykits travel well?

Or will i end up with a box full of cracked bumpers and sideskirts because it got bumped and droped along its journey?

Any one done something like this (bought a kit fom Japan)? Any ideas on the cost of shipping?

Cheers

hey mate can you link me the website plz?

I guess nice is a matter of opinion...

I dont want my car to have silly wings or over the top bodykits,

Ive always liked the GT-R Z tune's bumper and this one is kinda similar...but fits on a non GT-R.

That way it might give people a hint of what im planning to put under the bonnet. :) ....eventually....when carsh permits  .

Still would really appreciate hearing from someone who has imported a body kit.

Cheers for the responses guys, all opinions are welcome :)

I imported a genuine BN Sports kit for mine, currently at the workshop being fitted up etc.

If your after a GENUINE kit from Japan, then its going to cost you. The cost of the actual kit will be exy + the frieght charge on top as the box it comes in is massive.

If you want something unique that not everyone has then id say go for it, otherwise to be honest its not really worth the money. Just make sure you get the a copy of the kit your after from someone reputable like Peter at Bodyform.

I went for the BN kit for a number of reason:

-At the time of purchase there were no copies available. Only copies around were Cwest, Bomex and URAS (similar to BN but not quite) oh and the odd Top Secret and Impul front bars going around.

- I had a soft spot for the URAS kit cause of Nomukens D1 car but there were already a few people with this kit and the 2 door version doesnt look all that good and I instantly fell in love when I saw the BN kit haha

Thanks for that Shonen,

Good to hear that it has been done.

I do want my car to be individal, but those cheaper kits do have their appeal.

Must admit, I do like the BN kit aswell.

This is gonna take some serious thinking...

When I make my discision, get the car and get a bodykit ill post lots of pics either way.

Contact a company .. obviously most aus based companys import in large containers for japan .. you may have to wait awhile but you might end up paying less .. you could slide them $100 -$200 under the table to import it if you pay the costs up front .. that way they come out ontop .. if they f**k it ur rooted tho ..
