Yes.. you need to undo the pannel left of the glove box/just below it. it will be in a clear and blue plastic boxy thing wedged in the back of the footwell.

Whya re you installing a turbo timer on a 25DE?

there is an old thread in the n/a section discussing turbo timers on an n/a - no benefit, excessive idling actually harms the engine as it is running too rich (from memory)

Seriously then why does apexi make a full auto timer for turbo and NA?? COnfused i have it coming from japan, i am contemplating turbo'n the NA engine as people say they are pretty quick as they are high comp, i have read other threads, however i out of money atm..I was also told that the ecu was in the boot near the battery?? I had a look i think it may be but will look under the kick pannel, i ise to working on a commodore a lot more simple..

My guess would be to sell more! :( Sure it works with an n/a, but there's no benefit.

If you're going to turbo it down the track, you will need one, so it won't be wasted.

HICAS ecu is in the boot, main ecu is in the passenger kick panel.

The more you learn about these cars the more you realise they are quite simple :(

Cheers mate thank you for that so i look under my passangers side pannel under the glove box and see a large white/clear pannel do i just undo this and have a look around. i have looked at the threads on here for installing turbo timers and you need access to the ECU correct? yeaha should be turbo'n it down the track i just work on her slowly as i at uni n broke!!

They are really quite simple i am slowly realising apart from changing the oil filter which is a tight bastard in tricky location!! Regards hamish
