Damn! Thats hardcore. I heard of someone doing this on a GTR recently too. Could have been the same guy. Nasty damage on the chassis rail too.

That has happened to a well known member on this forum and caused a massive amount of damage

it should also be titled. why not to use a stock flywheel with a heavy duty clutch. all these combos are a recipe for disaster.

yeah, beer barron im worried to now.. ive got an exceedy H/D and stock flywheel with mild mods. am i a ticking time bomb?

also what you mean by side stepping exactly kinks?

unless your stock flywheel has been lightened (ie. had a fair amount of its mass taken out) you'll be fine at moderate power levels.

side stepping = dumping the clutch.

I'm yet to see an exedy clutch that is capable of destroying a factory flywheel at any power level.
