Well, what are you hoping to achieve? What will you be using the car for? Whats your budget?

The components you select when rebuilding need to be carefully thought out, and what you use depends on the answers to the above questions.

You need to provide more detail in order for others to assist you - I would assume you are referring to an RB25DET?

since ur profile says you only got a GTS and not a GTST then i wouldnt bother about rebuilding a non-turbo RB engine, just save and buy a turbo'd engine in the first place,

if you got the GTST then as blitz said... alot of questions you have to ask yourself before you ask us, eg, what do i used the car for, how much power i want, will i want more power later on?

parts involved for a bottom end rebuild:

pistons, rods, rings, rod bolts, main bearings, big end bearings, oil squirters, oil pump, metal head gasket.

things you should do:

rear main seal, regrind the crank (will require oversized main and big end bearings to suit), block x-rayed for cracks etc.

thats it off the top of my head.
