I hate these threads, everyone recomends the car that they own and then bag the others saying rb25>rb20, r33s are boats, rb>sr, etc. It turns into an arguement of who has the best car

get the car you want and like the most

That is what he does not know. along with a billion others. so he asked for some help. reading through peoples opinions he will find the general curve to what the majority of people think is the best.

that is correct

like i have been looking at S13 - 14s and not considered a GTR because i thought they were a lot heavier and would use more fuel. (to me its an issue, i want good economy if i drive easy)

to anyone out there who has experience with both models could you please give some FB

between a S13 and a gtrst

can you please tell me which was best for

acceleration?

braking?

cornering?

fuel consumption? best and worst IE is either one better or worse than the other?

cause i realise it comes down to a lot of factors but as a general rule........

omg... Ain't it really easy to decide which car best suites your style? like skylines and silvias have totally different stylez...Skylines = rocket style, silvia = slim and nice.... in terms of power R33 gts-t would be the best :P

Couldn't have said it better...

The Skyline is the most powerful. :P

You could also make Silvias into a 'rocket style' too... thus it would be 'slim and nice' and a rocket which is the best of both worlds lol. But it's upto whether you want a beast looking car or a delicate looking car...

thanks for the replys guys.

I like a car that you can chuck into a corner

Also fuel economy when crusing is important to me as well.

One car i was looking at was a MA61 supra (1350kg) with a 1JZ and when not going hard on the boost it will get 9l/100km, very good.

I was wondering of the ower was having me on when hi told me this, but he connected a Air-Fuel meter to the exhaust and we went on a run and until the boost came on hard, it was reading 14.9 the whole time!!!

It was a standard computer as well.

Hit the boost and is came down in the 11s

I am wondering if the Nissan engines can be this frugal as well.

Get an R33-> most power+torque +tuning potential out of the lot.

It also looks good, has more interior room, newer technology, etc. Also less likely to have bad mechanical wear compared to an R32 or S13.

I agree, the handling isn't as direct as the others (weight, length) but in context you won't be power sliding everyday anyway, plus with some good coilovers (a must do if you wanna tune) the handling becomes sharp + crisp (i have coilovers...handles like a monster).

Pick what you want!

Good luck (with the R33 :O )

At the end of the day all car choices are a personal one, what is the right one for you may not be liked by others, which does't matter anyway. I went looking for six months for a gtr and ended up after a test drive not buying said gtr. so what ever everyone on this thread is telling you, the right choice is nissan-regardless of model and you will do well if you dont rush to buy the first car you see. Just take your time, you'll choose right
