The Bosch 044 is proving to be a head ache so I am just going for top best intank pump I can find. This is what has slowed us down. It will be interesting when boost come in.

i am getting the 044 bosch pump, whats the problems u had with it?

the 044 is an external pump. if i was going to have a swirl tank it would be up under the parcel shelf, u know where the battery sits. the height is only cca 220mm. most of the tanks u can buy are 8" so it would not fit. there was one specially made for R33 but he wants $250. for it. too much in my books.

there is the consideration of the following problems as well:

HOT FUEL (SINCE WE HAVE SMALL TANK AND RETURNING FUEL),

RELAYS, TIME, COST, INTANK PUMP UPGRADE CONSIDERATION, WEIGHT.

So after all this effort I was happier to consider a souped up intank pump. Just Plug 'n' Play.

The Nissan has a nice little pot in the tank where the pump sits anyways... u will see it if you open the screw plug on top. And I don't have any of the problems above. I just keep the fuel up to it.

BTW, yes I know some people put the 044 in tank, it is not made for it though.

i was planning on putting it intank also coz others have done it 2 and not had any hassels with it

it will last 1 to 2 years Bosche told me but ur choice.
