ok so i don't want a r32 gtr anymore (because too many dodgy ones, with bad paint or rusted rails or engines that could randomly blow up), i don't like r33's and an r34 is out of my price range. Theres other cars i like but there all around 30k and i don't really want to spend more than 20.

sooo logical conclusion is a cbr250rr and a crappy old 3-4k RWD car to screw around in.

bike = fast and fun

RWD = fun and daily driver

So i was thinking a 86 model corolla (a sprinter? those initial D ones)or an older datto/corolla/ta22 celica (i'm talking good nick and decent quality so i would prefer not to need to go 70's, which is why i need your 80 model suggestions)

I want to avoid fords holdens and r31's, and anything else big. Any suggestions? it can't be totally gay, has to be sorta cool/ok.

would get a mk1 golf gti but they fwd and fwd = sucks T_T

Once you buy a bike, you'll be like "this fast and fun",.....then you'll more power and you'll step up to a 600cc, then you'll want more power and you'll be like "I want a 1000cc" and so on.

Your quest for fun/power will not end at cbr250rr. But bikes are fun though.

Yeh, get one of those so you can do wheelies and stopies like every other squid that rides them. A 600 is about all you can really use on the road. They still do the 1/4 mile in roughly 10.5sec right out of the box and they offer better handling than a 1000 because they are lighter. The new CBR600 is prolly the best bike on the road, at least reviews and people I know that have em say it is. My first choice for a bike would be a Daytona 675 though. Also stay away from the new Yamaha's. Even though they are superior track bikes, they are hard as shit to ride on the street because you need to flog em to 15000rpm before they do anything (they don't redline till 17500). This makes them very hard to ride in traffic and start off at lights. If you can't afford a new bike, you might want to look at Kawasaki 636's or older Yamaha R6's. Even the gixxer 600's are good bikes, but I would avoid them unless you enjoy the stereotype of being a wanker.

As for the car, just get something reliable that you can afford, then get a nice bike. Cars will take a back seat anyways once you start riding.

Nothing wrong with an old Ford Escort. RWD, light, and a popular track car so mods are out there.

Can you get a Datto 1600 for that amount?

you can get old school beemers 6's for around 4. had a 1985 323i before and its was a fun drive. think they are something like 105kw and 1100kg or around abouts. they sound awsome with a nice exhaust too, and they handle pretty well for an old car.

ya kidding me? sure they arent super quick but to say a 750/1000 is a joke. cbr will be fine to start with, get used to the two wheels and possbily sell it again for what you bought it for providing you dont drop it. get a new bike and drop it, hello paying out the bum for parts.
