Ticking Noise In Rear Drivers Side Tyre

hi ive got this annoying ticking noise that seems to be coming from my rear drivers side tyre. It gets louder as the tyre spins faster. could it be a bearing? or maybe something else. ive looked for any sorta rocks on the tyre but theres nothing there. any suggestions would be helpful?

i also have this its damn annoyin must be bearings i also have flat spotted rear tyres but i doubt they'd do that! guess bearings interested in others opinions too!

Its always been something in the tyre for me...stone, nail, screw etc. Or maybe something in the brakes like a bent guard?

bearings tend to make a whooping noise and you can work out which side by listening when you turn a corner. The outside corner takes more load so it will be louder.

I would think that if its something inside the tire, as the speed increases, the centrafugal force will push it outwards, and it will rotate with the tire, ie stuck against the outside of the tire - the noise should disappear.

lol I got 4 posts? anyway, not inside the tyre I mean stuck in the tread, so you can see it from the outside if you jack it up and turn it 360o

hmmmm. I get the same thing kinda sounds like brakes ticking....its annoying as hell

me too. i cant hear it normally but only when im driving past parked cars or a big flat wall that reflects the sound back at me. always wondered what it was
