Intercooler Won't Fit

Here is a pretty picture of my allegedly drop in replacement intercooler for my R32 R. Won't name brands but the more perceptive of you will be able to see the name helpfully painted on the thing.

Judging from the weekends results - to paraphrase Warnie this mob can't race, can't fabricate. Good work.

i am very suprised at that PWR generally make very good products have you spoken to them and seen if they maybe sent you the wrong model or if there was a manufacturing issue ???

1. Yes am doing that presently.

2. Not bitching about the product quality. Just annoyed that it doesn't fit.

Does anyone know where PWR sources their cores?

i have a jjr GTR core which looks exactly the same to my old 180sx PWR core. Just as an excercise can you compare the core (not tanks) to a generic JJR one?

Well the wash up is as follows.

From my workshop:

"They (Supplier of intercooler) are still arguing that your car is in fact fitted with an R33 GTR

cooler and bumper support...bla bla bla."

To be clear the car is a stock standard R32 R sitting in a RAWS workshop some four weeks after being complied & registered.

So for anyone looking to buy this brand of cooler for this particular car please be aware that it probably won't fit.

Sorry if this post contravenes any rules, but it is about as even tempered as I can manage.

jap bolt in intercoolers with better flowing cast end tanks FTW..

im not a fan of the local auto industry, in all the experience ive had its been 90% negative

as far as i know all PWR radiators and intercoolers use JJR cores

well thats wat i learnt when i worked in the radiator industry.
