Put a decent muffler (or two) on it. One large and another smaller one would be enough for your average car.

It'll cost you a bit of money, good quiet mufflers cost money as they actually have some design/thought/material behind them :P

Mate, there are too many exhausts to note - go to www.mrmuffler.com.au or something and ask them - they will be in a position to give you quotes and advice on what is best suited to you specific needs.

Good luck.

ok sweet as thanks for the reply ash

wat are sum decent mufflers?

your probably better off going to a exhaust place that deals with modified cars

See what they have to offer mate and what they think, also do the dump pipe at the same time i reckon

As Ash has stated

mid muffler

rear large muffler

3" in and 3" out for both.

good mufflers cost big bucks.....so the more you pay..the better they get

Cheers

If you're running 3" off the stock turbo you won't need to do a lot to shut it up.

The stocker turbos are pretty good mufflers right off the bat.

Suggestion:

put the exhaust on; drive to an exhaust shop and get it measured to find out what you need to take out.

Adding a 3" resonator's probably good for about 3dB at the test RPM.

Adding a full-blown muffler's probably good for about 6dB @test. The quality of the

muffler (as in design and materials) determines how much flow you'll lose from adding it.

Adding one of those dodge-arse restrictors was good for 10dB on mine before

I put the cams in it...

hey all just put my cat back, back on, i also have 3" front pipe waiting to b fitted..just wondering would fitting that lower the exhaust note? coz it still feels pretty loud n drony even while idling

Hmm, in general, no.

In general, the more flow, the more noise. A frontpipe that's larger than stock will in general increase the flow - thus, increase the noise.
