Extremely wrong.

There is no turbo available, that is only slightly bigger than stock as you say (say a 400-450HP turbo) that is ment to be pushed any where near 35psi.

How do you know it is pushing 35psi? Boost gauge or someone just told you this?

its a HKS 3 inch neck (luv the mad induction noise :) ) with custom heat sheild... but getting straight to bumper will be good... will it make alot of difference in power?... any gain is good for me.

Don't do that...next large puddle you will hit will be your last for the motor....keep it high and out of the rain.

Oh...I know why I liked it and choose it...MY avatar that is...could stare at it for hours....lol

i dont know what sb8 is, but i want 10.

i was thinking that to have a stockish turbo power figure on 35 psi, and nothing at 10 psi, he has a tiny tiny turbo that he is spinning the crap out of to get the air flow. i think there would be too much heat for it to make any reliable power if that was true, so it must be tuned to run a bit cooler.

HOWEVER- ive decided that this isnt feasible (?) now. what he has is a full throttle tune. when he is at lower load points eg. 10psi on the 35psi tune its just not fuelled or timed correctly, and is running crap.

still think that it needs to be checked on a dyno. what if there is nothing wrong after all? does it feel quickish on the road or feel like a pintara

i ran my pod in the front bumper for years in brisbane (when we had rain)

with no dramas

only moved the pod back to the engine bay, coz i got sick of replacing them coz they were so dirty

it feels good, quickish like it should running 10 i guess... but on idle it tends to pop and crackle (probably exhaust)... oh and it feels like it has a bit of a flat spot at low revs... i think i need a tune by the sounds of things.

oh ok, did it perform better in front? did it make a louder induction sound in front?
