can you just have a Rb 26 block but have all the componets that a RB25 has like turbo manifold etc thorttle body?. cause i would just like to have the internals of a rb26 and just have a single turbo well its a plan anyway.

World Nissan Federation has just lifted its ban on single turbo RB26's, you should be able to get by no worry's

You can put RB26 pistons/rods/crank into the RB25. But IMO there is little point.

They are only marginally better than the RB25 gear.

Ideally you'd need aftermarket pistons if you wanted any increase.

And as for the manifolds, throttle bodies etc from RB25--RB26, they are different. Manifold bolt pattern especially.

It can all be made to fit, but it will cost.

Either way, if you dont have 15k, then no need to think about any of this :thumbsup:

RB25 is still going to cost you mate.

I hope you dont think its going to be a lot cheaper :)

Build motor in/out = ~6-7k

Turbo = $1700

Manifold = $1100

Then all the parts required to support, injectors, afm, ecu, coil packs, clutch, diff etc.

Your still looking at around 15k either way really.

How about you set a budget.

Then people here will be able to tell you what you can & can not attain with that money.
