Can Anyone Tell Me

By looking at this picture, is anyone able to give me a guess on weather or not the exhaust system on this has been changed, or if it is just the muffler tip of the car. ??

i am worried because if its the exhuast system i may have to take it off due to new p plate laws in vic

It...does not look like mine....(mine is stock...but I've got gts-t...but I think they are all dual-tips standard looking at the service manual)

yea factory has twin tips. This one looks aftermarket but doesn't look too loud...might be a nismo item in which case should be pretty quiet

Honestly no one here can tell you without having a looking under the car. If the exhaust is nice and fat all the way back to your cat or turbo, then it's aftermarket (or a factory option?).

Yes we can, that exhaust is not stock, the tip is not standard as mentioned above... if you knew your stuff you would know that is aftermarket! I would be betting its a Nismo exhaust too!

Its a catback aftermarket exhaust at a minimum...unless anyone on here has xray vision, no one would know if it was turbo back just from looking at tht pic.

buy the car,

Sell the exhaust and get the standard one from a wrecker or something.

Will grab ya a few extra bucks too.

It seems to be hanging a bit before the muffler so I would say that it's atlease a catback exhaust.

Just get a standard exhaust from the wreckers and swap it over. Put this one back on when you're off you P's.

i bought the car. and had a good look at it today. after the tip of the muffler the pipe decreases inside which leads me to believe that its only the tip that is modified, i shall get it checked out professionally tho

its a stock exhaust. the tip is called a "super megaphone"
