Hi peep,

I've got Tein HR coilovers, it came with my car since i bought it. they are only height adjustment and it too bumpy (hard) on my daily driving. so, i'm thinking about getting it servicing or rebuilt to my spec (like 30% softer or more to suit syd road)

So, does anyone know where can i get this done? and is it worth to do it? or better get a new set (i'm looking at Tein SS but got a quote over $1500 for a set)

Note: i have a very low budget and really need to get this sort out real soon ( cant stand on bumpy suspension)

thanks for all ur help

If the shocks show no signs of leakign etc then its easier to throw some different springs at it. You can get springs from Bilstein etc surprisingly cheaply. (Of Kings etc) The shocks shoudlnt have too much trouble controlling a spring around 20% softer. Thats the compromised solution.

Maybe speak to Fulcrum and see if they can reco and re-valve the shocl to suit the softer spring rate....The spring rate is normally what makes ppl cringe, especially with worn shocks
