Rpm Guage..

hi all

my rpm guage goes randomly nuts sometimes. ive noticed twice now that when im in 4th doing around 60-80 the guage just starts goin nuts goin past 9000 rpm and then back to 2 then to 3 then just stops and goes to 0 then does a full spin and stops untill i get back to 2nd or stop the car. it happens randomly and is really annoying

if any one has any info on whats goin on would be greatly appr

any one ? is it my ecu ? will a remap fix this ? or is it something to do with the dash ? ! ARG! ;/

its a dash \ wiring issue.

My water temp guage is doing it at the moment.

Ive been having problems with mine this year.

Since its been playing up ive had a PFC fitted, pulled the dash apart and reflowed all connections to Tacho, and checked all connections.

Still doesnt work properly. Its most probably some worn out components in the Tacho module.

mine rpm guage started playing up to and from going from a stock ecu to a power fc didnt change/fix it so i think its the guage that stuffed
