electronic buffing machine

i dunno what its called exactly so i just described what it does ... u know those little circular machine (which looks like hand grinder) that pro detailers use to buff off the polish/wax etc etc ?? r they worth buying? does anyone use this at home?

I use an orbital buffer - like a $30 supercheap one.

I cut and polished my car for years by hand and got given the buffer for Christmas. Always thought they were dodgy, so I didn't want to use it. Did give it a burl in the end and was surprised how well it worked. I do use it only for selected tasks though eg application of glaze and final buff of wax.

how much r the pad thing ?? (application pad, and terry towel pad)

Not sure, mine came with a variety of bonnets included.
