hi all

i am about a tenth of the way throught my rb25 conversion on my r32 and thought tonight i may put the fuel pump in. i brought a bosch 040 pump a week or so ago as sofar my 32 has seen little in the way of engine mods and the new engine needed some more fuel.

i un-screwed the cover and to my suprse the 040 looks nothing like the old pump and doesnt even look like it would fit in the cradel properly. i had a quick look at it to try to work out how i could fit it in but then thought i would just come and do a search on sau but i havent found anything so now i am asking the question? does some one have a how to. i also checked in the stickys and the only fuel pump ones were for increasing the voltage.

so could some one please help me and explane what they have done.

i have a suspision that people just cable tie the pumps to the brackets and that why all the skylines i have ever been in with AM fuel pumps have been noisy.

if no one has any info then i may write up my owne tutorial to help others out.

thanks damien
