You know its a 25 yeah. Its making 8psi at 2000 and full boost at 3500. Said to be one of the most responsive cars race pace has tuned. Everything seems to be working really well together.

So it has a 25 bottom end with 26 head and plenum? It looks to be a 3071R or 3076R based on the comp cover?!?!?! Sounds very nice and responsive. Very keen to see it at the track. LOL. i would so give you my new suspension (Tein RAs) and brakes (Brembo f50 on 340mm rotors) so we can see an R32 GTSt with all the good gear mixing it with the GTRs :domokun: (if only i could afford to )

I do have my now spare Bilsteins that i was going to get re-valved and new platforms on to suit Eibach springs

I said it before and i'll say it again: Looks awesome!!!

Top work Adz.

Bris: it's a rb25 head and bottom, soon to be stroked to rb28. Only using plenum and throttle bodies.

Is the Garrett 3037 bigger or smaller than the Garrett GT30R (GT3076R, 500hp)?

So yeah as Al said its a RB25 head and bottom end with RB26 plenum and throttle bodies. It requires a Blitz adapter plate which is very hard to find in aus these days. I believe I have one of two in Aus supplied by Autobarn. You then need to re fabricate the thermostat housing to clear the VCT and relocate the idling gear as well as fit a RB26 oil filter adapter. Im sure there would be some other little tricks involved that only Race Pace know.

The turbo is a 3037 garret equivalent which is a 3076R. I really wanted to put big brembo's on but will see how the current set up goes and might have to wait for the bank to gain confidence in me again lol. Should give a few GTR's a run for their money.

Dont want to drift it atm as its too pretty and I dont want to muck it up in a hurry. Im sure drift will get the better of me sooner or later. Pretty sure it will be drifting by Christmas.

I wonder if the variable timing of the 25 head and PFc combined with the inlet plenum is the reason why the thing is so responsive. So what is th efinal mumber the car makes with the 3076R?

Does sound nice...please tell me it has open gate...the invasion of the loud GTSts

Dude!!! Open gate all the way.

Yeah thats what I was going for. The setup is garenteed 40hp at the wheels straight up with heaps of response. In fact its all working a little to well. Due to the low back presure exhaust system and an efficent intake set up the exhaust gasses prefure to go throught the turbo than out the wate gate so shes over boosting. So final power figures and dyno sheets are not available. A new manifold and a 48mm wastegate are on their way to fix it all up. Then its time to finish the tune and shes done. Looking to make 300kw on good fuel day in day out on stock internals.

CHAMPION  Stock internals GTSt all the way BABY!!!!!!!!!!!! :O

I have an adaptor for the inlet drawn up and ready to do a mock fit up with for the RB25 inlet side using the RB26 inlet. Also the exhaust side as i dont think i can turn 100% homo and go low mount twins on the 26 head. I think i need to make up my adaptor plate so that i can run my RB20/25 HKS exhaust manifold with Brother Gate providing the tunes, all with the reliability of low mount cast manifold. All the plans depend on what i can source at a decent dollar figure...as beign atight ass R32 owner, i wont dare spend more more then 60% of what i spend per week on grog and Indan :D

    • Hi soviet_merlin, We appreciate your concern regarding this possibly being some sort of PR/Political hype, I assure you that is not the case, I wish we could claim something like that, but in this case, we merely reached out for comment on the basis of the outrage we too felt, as those heavily in the automotive industry. Ps. the original source in the social media post is CarExpert not CarExplore.    Best, CE.
    • Made a bit of a discovery, but while I was cruising, I randomly decided to test to see if it worked and it showed up on my IC7. The entire time I tested it before, I never thought to turn the ignition on. I only tested it with head lights turned on but with the ignition off. Huge oversight on my end. I’m a dummy. I know.
    • G'day all, I have drilled and tapped the hole for the relocation of the timing belt tensioner. That was straight forward. I'm unsure if I need to also put another hole for the smaller stud that the spring behind the tensioner catches on (this is how it seems to work in its original spot). Or do you not use the spring behind it and just torque it down? Thanks in advance, I did a search but couldn't find anything related and it doesn't mention it in the rb30det sau guide.
    • Hi All,  just thought I would provide an update as I know smooth (Matt) was on this forum from 2003.    my brother Matthew passed away end of may 2024 at the age of 41 from liver failure. I am not sure how many of his original team krazy friends are still on here or active but thought it reasonable to let the forum know.    if you have any photos or pictures it would be great if you could share them.    it took me a while to work out he was active on here.    thanks so much
