Just installed my splits in the front and hooked them up to amp and when i turned power on the tweeters started humming.

I dont think much audio came through them at all, all i could here was this rather high pitch hum.

I have a R33 skyline, the RCA leads are running down the middle with the remote wire and speaker wire, and pop out near battery

Maybe that is why i get it? (being near battery)??

Where do you guys have all your wires running?

If the RCA cables are no where near ANY power cables (not just the stereo ones), then check the location of the crossovers. Sometimes crossovers can induce noise into the sound stream if they're mounted to close to larger power cables.

The crossovers are in the door pockets, as that was the only place they would fit lol. Would any of the cables in the door cause this? Rcas run down the middle of the console past gearstick and then up the battery side of the back seat and through a gap in behind battery. I have put the cables as far away as possible from the battery but maybe is that why? being resembly close to battery?

Hey dude

This is a common problem.

Make sure that all of the GND connections are good (ie Head unit, Amp, Battery)

Look at getting RCA's that are twisted and shielded.

If all else fails you can get a noise filter
