I am after the mirror glass itself - and willing to buy the backing plate as well.

My outer case is fine, but for the right price maybe...

The mirror is cracked and i just want to replace that.

Go to a compliance shop, they have the glass ( no backing plates ) , you should be able to pick one up for about $10. If you can't find a compliancer near you go to a glass place and they will cut one for you .

I also want to replace my flat mirror glass with a convex mirror. I have purchased a complete mirror with the glass that I want. How do you get the glass and backing plate out of the mirror?

If I can get the glass out of my two mirrors and swap them over then I will have a flat mirror glass for sale.
