you can't nail them down unless you prove it with a written report... which will cost me a lot of money also - simpler if I just get it fixed.

I remember, what happened to Sheppard Ford - that car dealer had to shut down because when they sold a used car, the buyer accidently met the previous owner of that car. The original owner saw the odometer and it was less than what he had before....

also wouldn't be admitting that on a public forum haha

anyway, the odometer was probably wound back in Japan before shipping, its pretty much the case with all Jap imports unless there are supporting log books. I'd take it back anyway and ask whats going on, demand a discount or that they refund your money, your planning on selling anyway so why not
