I DAFSed and coudnt find it, but after installing a brand new Nissan R33 Oxygen sensor, do you need to unplug your car battery or not?

I have heard you may have to reset your ecu by disconnecting the battery and turning the ignition IIRC? I don't think this is right but maybe someone can clarify this.

A lot of mechanics don't care either as it's not their car. If you still feel you have a problem, they will always welcome you back and charge you for it.

He is a friend and did not charge me anything for the oxy sensor change or the oil service

Resetting the ecu doesn't do a whole lot. Trust me. I have a consult cable, and i've tried resetting the ecu with it many times. The placebo effect is about 100 times as much as the real effect.

People say oh, it feels smoother, makes more power, spools earlier.... next thing people will be saying that resetting the ecu makes the car look better
