Stock stereo prob

OK in my 33 GTS4 i got the stock cd/tape/radio unit

i had to replace the stock speakers cause the outer ring blew out from age

i had the same problem with the original speakers tho

The music sometimes will cut out on one speaker to a lower volume and shit

and it seems to only do it when going over bumps, any ideas?

Dry solder join?, if I was you, I would save up a weekend and check it all out. Its pretty hard to diagnose across the net, but it sounds like something isn't making contact.

Sumo sounds like he is on the money. chances are the one of the connections isnt contacting correctly with the speaker terminals or there might be a problem with the acutal cable connecting the headunit and speakers. (more unlikely).

Spend a few minutes to have a look over the speakers and test them before you put everything back together (eg. doors if you took them off).

Probably an internal break in the wiring (probably around the door area which of courses flexes as you open and close the doors. Always hard to diagnose - best solution is to run new wiring. That should fix the problem.
