Over Revving

hey guys ive just installed my freshly built rb26 in to the gtr.

the problem im having is that it is idling way to high! around 1600-2000.

ive tried screwing in the valve under the plenum and that didnt lower it enough

i cleaned the throttle bodys while the engine was out im starting to think this is why it may be idling high:(

also what does your gtr temp guage normally sit on?

I believe you are correct there.

I believe the solution is to run RICH for a while to rebuild the carbon deposits in the throttles.

theres also a screw on the ecu to adjust the idle......well theres one on the gts-t.....might be worth having a look.

it could be your intercooler piping... i know when mine was idleing hight and ruff it was the pipes... the clamps over the silicon were loose. tighten them one weekend and car was fine
