Manual conversion

Hi, i am looking to do a auto to manual conversion on my r33 gts-t, now I know this has been discussed several times, but I actually need to know ALL the gear one would need to do a conversion like this (clutch,flywheel, driveshaft etc)

Need to know so I can buy all the parts and get the conversion done locally.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is also some wiring and you need to cut a hole for the stick because the nissan auto's are cable shifted.

russ, i already considered this, but theres no point ur looking at nearly $3000 for there whole conversion, money is better spent on mods , or just sell the car and get a manual i just gonna wait till i get my next car definately a manual

$3k aint too bad, I am sorta attached to my car now...spent a fortune on mods etc.

Plus manuals sell for about $4k more than auto's in the first place

I had a auto sr20 NA silvia. I did the manual conversion and it was the best money i spent on the thing, still gutless though. Cost me $1300 in parts.

we know the auto ecu can be used to run a manual car, only have to be rewire so it can start.

if later on I want to use a native manual ecu, will I have to change that wiring again?

i've been quoted 2k .. so 3k will easily do it .. and besides .. 3k on mods will blow the autobox so you're going to have to do it either way

hippy, yeah it will blow the auto box, but then again u could always strengthen the auto box? hehee but manual is more fun to drive

keep the auto ecu. tuned slightly different to the manual.

what would u need to do to strengthen it up so that it could take say ... 230 rwkw??

standard gearbox at 230rwkw is still ok (obviously depending on how you drive it).

i know of r33 gtst's with close to 300kw with standard boxes...

i ve done a converson on my r33 it cost my $1100 for the box and $1200 for labor an tail shaft made. i was happy whith the price an the ecu is same as the manual one.
