Not as easy as you think. Most of the dash has to be taken apart to reach the back of head unit. I have removed the stock stereo many times and might be able to help you. What year is your car, coupe or sedan, auto or manual? Also, Nissan uses a two-pronged antennae plug so make sure you buy the appropriate band expander. This applies to the stock stereo thats built into the dash, not a standard DIN unit.

do a search and you should come up with the parts needed.

I think from memory you need 3 separate parts due to the antena config.

1 from antenna to expander, then the expander, then from expander to the back of the radio.

I have the parts somewhere here just haven't got around to installing.

As for removal of the dash, there are a few DIY instructions on some of the american G35 sites.

you need:

AP745 +AP348A + AP348B and a bit of time.

I usually keep these in a kit anyway. its a common thing for nissan cars.

above link is correct for disassembly.

Did mine today - not too hard, but does take a bit of time and you do need to remove alot of the dash.

If anyone is giving it a shot, you need to wire the expander to power. Had a look at wiring diagram, and power is a yellow wire in both the BOSE and standard radio
