Help 5000rpm Major Hesitation R33 Gtst

Ok so i just picked up my new 33 and on the way home i thought i would wind her out........soon as i get to 5000rpm starts spluttering like its hitting rev limit..........whats going on.....pls help

Changing the plugs and fuel filter this morning hope that helps.

has it been modified at all?

what mods?

if its been boosted and has stock ecu, could be fuel cut/boost cut off. we need more info than that to help ya out.

Seems to be all sorted. changed the plugs put in some fresh bp ultimate

reset the ecu, adjusted the idle, oil and filter change

some of the coils were slightly cracked but not arcing so i think they are fine for the moment

btw it has a 3" cat back blitz exhaust and a k & n pod........stock boost

i'd say it was just dodgy plugs, since by changing them it went away. the plugs were probably worn and the gap had increased.

do the plugs u put in have smaller gap now than the ones that were in it?? easiest way to avoid misfire is to do so but does point to coil packs not being able to handle the load..

healthy new plugs will 'mask' a dodgy coil for a while, but eventually you have to either change your plugs all the time or change your coil/s.

Yeah the plug gaps were a fair bit bigger than the new ones and the new ones had the v grove in them. as soon as i get some more cash together i will grab a set of splitfire coils. standard second hand ones are selling for about $300 a set.....and from what i hear most are cracked.
