When I lived in Darwin, my friend had a kingswood ute cut down the middle and the cab cut down and out too so as just the ute wall, the drivers door and the engine bay remained. The side was converted to a bar and the engine bay, was much like this only, switched around, so you had the bar man/cook behind it all.

Wish i had some photos.

This one is in much better condition though.
