Performance Car Mania, 2007 - Winton Raceway

Hi everyone,

Performance Car Mania is an event I put together at Winton Raceway. This year will be its second year and is looking to be a great event. I am in the process of putting the finishing touches to the event at the moment. Entries are open and they are cheaper for early bird entries.

The event is a street machine style event with Drift, Drags, Burnouts, Cruizin, go-to-whoa, dyno and sound comps, show and shine and club displays. Last year there was 130 cars and everyone got that much track time they had enough by the end of it.

There is no prize money becuase we are aiming at the grass roots stuff, not many people actually get a shot at winning the money anyway, and it is all aimed at having a bit of fun, and last year certainly was that.

The event is on September 21-23, 2007 with scruitneering on the friday afternoon before some grudge match drag racing under lights on Friday night, which is all just a bit of fun and the event officially kicks off on Saturday.

Hey all,

It would be awesome to see some of you guys up there, I will be taking the GTR up and will also be taking photos for Winton and Wheatley Productions who will be filming the event.

It's a really fun event, heaps of track time and a what wicked track to cruise.

Yeah man come up for sure, there is a convoy of people going from my way (SE burbs) leaving on Friday at about 10 so we will be going through your side of town around 10.30ish.

I am the only line in the group and it would be sweet to cruise up there with another GTR.
