avalanche
hi i have a r33 that has been having a power drain. I have since found out the drain has been coming from my new head unit being partiacally on all the time. I wired it up at the back from a souce that gave power all the time so i could save stations. But by doing this it drains my battery in like 40 hrs. I remember there was another source of power but only when the ignition is on. Is there a way i can get just enough power to the head unit to save stations but not drain the battery? one of ya's has this done to your car how did you do it? thanks mark Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/176177-help-me-stop-this-power-drain-whilst-keeping-my-stations/ Share on other sites
Slim Mat
If you can, try working out which wire was plugged in to the standard radio unit, then just wire your cd player harness to that instead.
