TTT
get copper plugs not platinum or iridiium. waste of money. copper plugs and split fire coil packs. and you have an R32 GTR. if it has the stock wheels, you have the best rims you can get already.. why change it? LMAO at the compression check by first mechanic.. TurboX
I was looking at your photo of the GTR and thinking "what a great looking GTR and still with the original wheels which also look the goods!" Dont change them and you will be unique! Richie33
In SA dealers have a duty of care 3 month warranty if the car is over a certain price. Must be different in every state. That's why I went to a dealer, I know I paid too much but I did get some peace of mind. (Since found out how much my Advan wheels cost new, so don't feel so bad about the price ) The 33 I bought was the cleanest, most unmolested one I had ever seen as well. I thought about getting a GTR but I knew I wouldn't be able to fix one if it did blow. I read a thread on this site somewhere about engines blown up and they were almost all RB26's... the few RB25's that went were highly modified running very high boost (of course there are always a couple of unlucky people). As much as I wanted a GTR I realised I only needed a sports car, not a race car. DLUD3R
My rims aren't in the best condition (from before I bought it, I haven't damaged anything - YET!). Going in for a fix up + service tomorrow. Should be all good and raring to go by tomorrow night, woo! I'm excited, hehehe. DLUD3R
So, $1400 later i've got my car back and it seems to be going alright. I'm pretty happy, it's running smoother than ever, and sounds good. Maybe all it needed was a good service in the first place? Had all my oils changed, NGK Platinum spark plugs, Splitfire coils, so shouldn't have any more issues there. Now i just need to pay off the monsterous debt i've racked up with this car, and then it's time for some mode, woo!
