Mine looked exactly like this too. I found that if you didn't have them tightened to 100000 ft/lb, they must create some sort of arcing, and melt.

Great info. Dead right about the centre bearing being backwards. I put mine on wrong thinking the F in the rubber molding meant 'front' but it actually means back... You can also replace the boot. I bought a GKN high speed boot like this: https://en.oreca-store.com/gkn-cv-joint-boot-for-cv-joint-a-107-mm.html or https://www.race-parts.com/gkn-108mm-od-size-15-cv-tripode-joint-fast-boot I found my cv's were in good condition and i just washed them out and re-greased them with new boots. -
The other thing to watch in the meisters is they have different faces to cater for different brake sizes. eg. i run an 'R' disc on the front (biggest clearance for brakes) and the 'O' disc on the rear. it doesnt impact size or offset, its just the shape of the rim face that changes.

Nice work on the exhaust -
Hey Max32, what are your results on this issue? Did you ever fixed it? I am in the exactly same situation like you. Waterhose was cracked and i removed the Plenum, throttle valves. Air Chamber and replaced all waterhoses and vacuumhoses. After reinstall and putting all in the exact same placed back together, i cant boost over 0.7 bar. Besides that, the car is just fine - no issues. Have no boostcontroller and always removed the restrictor for gaining 1.0 Bar with Steel Turbos. But now its like and it feels like the restrictor is back. I have no clue. All was fine before. Also tried to bypass the solenoid (thought it was blocking or something) but there is no change. regards
