the 260RS is the one you want. I made my own - it would have been cheaper to buy one and mod it up...

There are a few going from dealers, but most that I have seen are asking around 35-40k... go to stagea discussion and post your question - there are a few owners in there, and most of those guys&girls have more of an idea than I do...

car - $15k for auto rb25 turbo.

Now has:

Rb26 & 5sp man(R33GTR), N1 turbos, Tomei cams, full suspension package, GTR rear Brakes, Porsche GT3 front brakes, custom fuel rail, etc etc etc. Good for 300awkw and tuned very safely owes about $50-60k, but still looks like a DAYZ (mild bodykitted 2.5turbo). Bearing in mind that all work was carried out in workshops, and labour constitutes a large part of the cost.

Trust me - it is not worth the expense. I bought the car modded from my father's estate, because it was extremely cheap. I could never have justified what he spent on it...

Hey guys,

Just checking out if anyone knows how much a gtr stagea costs roughly and if there is ever many for sal ein aus or would I best to import one?

Thanks.

Your cheapest option will be to import one. I'd agree around $35k is what you're looking at.

I've seen some as low as $30k but as with all things you get what you pay for.

If thats what you want then get the 260RS. Getting a RS4 and doing all the conversion work yourself will likely cost you well over $40k by the time you're finished with it, and that still wont give you the improved 260RS chassis.

Basically, the 260RS is almost an entirely different car to the RS4, its stronger in almost every way, and IMO looks a lot more agressive. It also has awesome performance in stock form (does a high 13 sec 1/4 mile i believe).

Very good value for money, but then again, in a different market, so is the RS4. :) You can get a good s2 RS4 these days for about $16-18k.

The 260RS will hold its value a lot better than the RS4. And as there are new stagea models available for import and compliance now the price of stageas will continue to fall....sadly :) But the way I see it, as long as I get value from the car in the (hopefully long) time I own it, then who cares what it sells for? I bought it to drive it, not as an investment. :)
