RE Customs Represent!!! I'll be there testing out my new suspension. Ray should (hopefully) also be there with his new & improved weapon of choice :nyaanyaa: RWD modified class will hopefully be alot of fun this round

I wonder if Dane will be in for this round??

Is the silver bullet coming out to play bris?

Meh, depends if i can get more then 2 hours sleep anytime soon, and get on top of work. The only way stuff is getting done on my car is to pay someone...which means it wont be happening. Maybe this weekend ?!?!?!

I should be in - Need to sort tyres. But i'll be there anyway.

JT from autobarn Narre has a near new set of RE55's going pretty damn cheap.

Hey all,

Im just a little confused still on the driver training front.

It does have "novice" on the list of 2007 classes in the supp regs. But if i look at the running sheet for the day it doesnt list the training blocks which i thought they had at the sandown rounds supp regs?

The entry form also asks for an expected lap time, can i just leave that blank as i have no idea / will be slow no doubt.

and last but not least do you have to sort out the number to stick on the car or do the organisers/cams hand them out on the day?

thanks heaps everyone

Camden

Hi Camden,

For your class write DT, leave the expected lap time blank, you will be given a number on the day

    • What blows me away, is watching some of the US guys, like Tony Angelo at Stay Tuned. LS1, buys a set of heads for $1200, drops a mild cam in, pulls all the electrics, drops a basic inlet manifold with a carb, MSD thing for spark, and roll it out to make 550hp.
    • God I love shiny engine parts 🥰 Are you looking for more horsetorques in the mid range? (Smaller cam) Or just more horsetorques every where? (Big heads and bigger revs) Assumption: they were not bought late night shopping on the interwebs after drinking too many beers, which is typically how I pull pins on things......🤣 The evolution of your car is coming along nicely, I sometimes wish I didn't get bored with my cars and keep flipping them, maybe the MX5 will be different
    • I got the hazards working! Turned out it was disconnected! Indicator stock still isn’t working. I took the steering shroud off and there seems to be a third connection missing I see two small white connectors but they don’t fit the indicator switch unless they need a short lead to convert the connector type. Can someone point me in the direction of the wiring diagram for the indicator switch?   https://share.icloud.com/photos/0e8ReiFSLBVJsTPUKKfA_1IdQ
    • All of your suspension bushes/bolts etc, should also only ever be tightened when the car is sitting with full weight too.   IE, jack it back up, shove a heap of stuff down so you can lower the wheels onto so the car is "on the ground" but you have room to get under it.   It's why when properly done, you should be able to remove the shock and spring, but the arms won't go to 100% droop. If you don't do the above, you'll destroy your bushes.
