Put the VG30 in a cardboard box. The walk into the garage and slide it under a bench. The best place for it. Then when you see an R33 owner wanting to hi-flow their std turbo then sell them the turbo so they can use the larger exhaust housing of the VG30 to ring every last hp out of the hi-flow.

Unfortunately the RB20 doesnt have the cc or compression to mask that the VG30 turbo isnt that great to start with, let alone on an RB20

As Roy said dont even waist your money with it as you will have better power and driveability from the stock turbo.

Either hold off until you can find a used RB25 turbo and bolt that up or go a highflow for best bang for buck.

What other mods do you have currently or your future plans for the car and power your chasing as that will also depend on what turbo you go with or if its worth spending money on a turbo now rather then later :P

i had a vg30 turbo on mine. went ok but im now upgrading to td06. my exhaust wheel came off at the track, whacked a std one on to get home and it went better than the vg30, more responsive an wat not. do as roy said. i have a vg30 turbo here with no exhaust wheel if anyones keen aswell

alright so rb25 turbo wat has 2 be done 2 fit one?

theres a diy in this section somewhere, covered in detail, however its is a direct bolt on everthing is exactly the same, i just changed my mates one last weekend only too a couple hours, not hard at all, just find a cheap rb25 turbo heaps going round, i have one if you want.
