Bee R make a rev limiter and launch controller that you can install in cabin.

It basically allows you to set your desired rev limit. Unlike factory rev limiters which cut fuel, this one cuts ignition, so fuel still goes through.

When they hit the hot turbo they ignite and u can get your flames comming out of the exhaust like the movie.

However it will drastically shorten the lifespan of your turbo.

Maaaan I had that shit on my strawberry face 180 back in the day as a kill switch for my amp. Back then the only place you could get it was at Jaycar, and it fitted a corresponding PSTN switch... thought I was pioneering shit, until at autosalon my car was right nex to sum otha f00 who had done the same thing... so naturally I had to remove it...

Now every shop carries it. :P

BTW kidd... here's an interview with Lieberman... it belongs to Hiro from Motorex.

NPM: Was the new color scheme strictly chosen for use in the movie "2 Fast 2 Furious" the sequel to "The Fast and the Furious"?

As it will appear in in the upcoming movie "2 Fast 2 Furious"

C.L.: Yes, The car is silver in the movie. It looked awful, so we just got done painting it back to blue. Why anyone would want to put SS Camaro stripes on a JDM Skyline is beyond me, but the guy designing the graphics (Keith Burns, Prod Designer) hates cars and generally needs his head examined when it comes to car accessorization, just my opinion.

NPM: Sounds as though you weren't too happy with their choice and couldn't wait to get it back to the original look afterwards.

C.L.: The gray/blue thing was ok with me. But the aforementioned clueless designer covered my carbon fiber nitrous bottles with chrome vinyl…it was the first thing I changed when I got the car back. In fact, this dude covered every carbon fiber surface with colored vinyl. As you can tell, I'm not very happy about his choices

Hahaha spoken like a tru Skyline owner :P

watched the movie and was also eager to find out what fuel they run. as for those flame thrower kits i had one on my old car and it was the spark plug typr but only ignited the fuel on with the switch was pressed and also caused the ignition to die ( like doing a key banger with out the stress) as for the REAL car comment if you watch a top fuel drag car they have continuos flame for the hole time they drag. aren't they real cars NZM.031

my skyline can pop flames and nearly all the turbo cars i know can pop flames run a different fuel like menthanol or high grade av gas and you'll get more flames

Yes, I've lost count of the number of plenums I've heard of going 'pop' from nitrous use. Also imagine what would happen when the car finally rolled to a stop.. why at least 500 porcupines would then drag the owner and his friend from the car and beat them senseless. Because as we all know this is what happens when you use too much NOS. Just like parts of the floor falling off really isn't it, you know -- the excess NOS finds it's way to the seam welds and unwelds them.

Zensoku,

You should put little NOS stickers on the horn buttons and charge twice as much for the steering wheels I reckon.

Like it isn't already happening in Sydney and the Gold Coast.. its on all the Wannabe rice boys shopping lists...

    • It will sound tragic and you wished you didn't have 1x exhaust per turbo. There's a reason why most S55 owners change to a single mid pipe.
    • Echo the comments about the well preserved condition it's in. It has the aero bumper too for extra points. Nice car, and please keep it like that! 🙂
    • 1. There are no real performance benefits. It sounds different, and as the pipes are not as large diameter you can claw back some undercar clearance or run lower (if that's your thing). 2. Twin pipes, offering exactly the same cross sectional area as a single pipe** will have higher pressure drop - so will not flow as well. That's because there is more surface area of wall per cross sectional pipe area, hence more frictional losses. ** But of course, it is almost impossible to get 2 pipes that are exactly the same XS area as a given typical single pipe. eg, 2x2" is not the same as 1x 3", although it is close. If the 2x pipes add up to less XS area than the single - it will just be flat out worse. If the 2x pipes add up to a bit more than the single, then it might come out as a wash. If the 2x pipes are substantially more XS area than the single, then it will probably flow a little better. 3. No. Why would there be? What have cats got to do with boost creep?*** ***But for f**ks' sake, please run a cat. 4. If you want.
    • UPDATE: was able to have the bracket repaired and base repaired, seat is like new now ;)
    • I was going to say it looks right out of Gran Turismo photoshoot when you just buy the car. (in a good way)
