R33 Window

i have a R33 GTS-T and my driver's side window onli goes down and won't come back. My alarm has the window lift and gets it back up but now that doesn't even work!! i was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem coz i've heard rumours that skylines have a lot of problems with their windows!!! and its also very annoying how i can't use my window no more!!

If mind goes all the way down it sometimes gets stuck.. haven't really bothered trying to fix it... I just don't put it all the way down.

might be the console on the drivers side

maybe remove the bittons and check the main connect cable is put back and connected in it's place.

maybe you got water on the buttons at some time...does the other window go up or is it just the drivers side

the other passenger window is perfect. It is only the drivers side window!!

heh my drivers side window has a scratch on it, i was quoted $600 for a genuine one, $400 for aftermarket and about $200 if i got one from the wreckers. (none of those prices included fitting)

..........they are only about $10 worth of glass

bottom line, be very careful with your windows

I had that problem, had to buy a new motor from nissan. It took about 3 weeks to order in from japan $$$

you shouldn't need to get it from nissan.. or japan. you can get a vl window motor

my window motor in my drivers window has gone twice now, its a pain but it sounds like its a common thing to happen, to get your window up just take the door trim off and give the motor a couple of whacks while pushing the up button and it will get it up, then get a motor and put new one in.

to get your door trim off do U really have to force it off??? coz i'm always scared i'm gona snap the lil things dat hold the panel on!!!

or is there sum sorta technique to get it off??

and is it easy to change teh motor ova???

and how much does the new motor cost???

maybe the relay box...I had a problem that my windows didn't go up when I activated my alarm. But when I changed the relay box, it all works fine now.

Mine has a scratch down it, i don't know how i got the scratch, i put my window down and when i put it up it had scratches on it i think my glass isn't on the rails properly? it makes this noise when it starts to go down.

best thing to do is

take the door trim of and inspect the the 2 plastic tabs that hold the window to the regulator

just glue them back on or even take it to a panel shop for them to inspect it not a hard job to do very easy and cheap
