Purge Hose

Need some help Yesterday looked under my hood and i seen my purge hose goes to nuffin

is this right or not.

See where your finger is, about 30mm to the right (near the bend for the cross over pipe) there are two brass pipes (you can only see one in the pic) attached to the cross over pipe. I am pretty sure the hose attaches to the lower pipe. Then attaches to the plenum at the other end of the brass pipe.

Yours has been modified for some reason, not sure why.

Al thank alot mate been looking for ages thats where it went. Ive been driveing all day wif it off and the car was going fine, i hope i didnt do no damage to my car becuse its been off

Looks to me to be anti-pollution seeing it's connected to the carbon canister, would you agree Al?

Now i know what you were talking about in the PM you sent me ........... No problems buddy.

I don't think any damage could be possible, as it would only act as a boost leak and nothing substantial could be sucked in the hose on vacuum, so you'll be right.

Yup, was looking at mine last night while under the bonnet, 34's have a similar canister but smaller. Nothing to worry about
