How Can I Tell Which Version Rb26 I Have?

Is it possible to tell from the pic?? If not, what do I need to look for??

I was told this was a R33 type, but is there a difference (i.e. S1/S2, etc??)

Any help appreciated - just trying to expand my knowledge base...

I don't think there is a way to tell by just looking at it.

I think by memory the R32 's had a different oil cap though.

The R32s did have a different oil cap but thats not to say that someone just put a 33 one on there, you may be able to tell by the engine numbers, just need to research what the first of the R33 engine numbers are.

R32 engines for the most part have 05U designation, and R33's have 24U

I take it you can not put engine numbers into FAST.

Just found out about it - will look into it (I am an amateur!). Plus, the conversion was done when I got the car... It's not a big issue: it handles everything I've thrown at it, I was just curious....
