hey guys

just want to know if its possible to adapt any type of remote start feature to my viper 1000 alarm? it has the optional circuit for the remote start but the original viper product is like 370 or so installed. bit more than i want to pay for a novelty item like remote start. if i could get 1 for like 150-200 installed i would but not spending almost 400.

if it has the ch2 out then a remote start module will run off that. as for doing it fromt hat unit - no.

simply because they can- if you do it stay the hell away from me and my kid.keep in mind if you press the button and its in gear and it starts killing a 5 y/o then you will be in some serious strife or jail. your call.

oh stfu. i got a viper vs5900 and im sick of reading some senseless bullshit around here. I dont have a 5 yo kid and I dont leave my car in gear when I switch off the car, who the hell would? I have a turbo timer so that means If I leave it in gear, put my hand brake up and expect to leave the car and keep it running how the hell would it work, it would jolt, stall and stay completely still.

If you leave your car in gear while parked, your a complete retard for 1, and if you park without putting up your handbrake your an even bigger retard. theres nothing unsafe about remote start if your not a retard therefore pass an online IQ test and score above the average and then buy a remote start to make people in this forum happy that you dont kill an invisible 5yo kid who likes to kiss the front of cars as a hobby.
