hey guys,

just wondering if someone could tell me if a set of 19 x 8.5 would go on a standard 33 gts-t thats not dropped at all without rubbing or hitting the calipers.

i was talking about this topic with a friend, he has a set of 17 x 9 and he has guard rubbing when he full locks the steering. its not noticable when just driving in a straight line or if hes not full lock on the streering. he's cars been lowered 2.5", so just doing the math.. i assume, the 19" would fit my car?

putting the rims on the car at the moment isn't a posibility either..

any input would help heaps!!

You wouldn't know whether a wheel would fit or not until you actually try them on. All wheels have a different spoke design. Just say you were given two wheels with the same specs (offset, width, etc.), but different spoke design, one could fit and the other might not. You wouldn't know whether the wheel will fit unless you try them on or someone has had experienced with them.

Also to make it easier for someone to determine whether a wheel will fit or not, you need to give us an offset for the wheels you're talking about.

Cheers
