ok guys so my valve springs have arrived. Tomie type C double springs. the problem i have is, does my head need to be machined gor the inner spring to fit?? the thing is the outer spring sits nice and no wories, but the innerspring seems to be on a cast bit?? does this need to be machined? and if so how much?? (not cost but depth)

I haven't used those springs bit if they are a double you will need to machine the seat area for the inner spring. There should be an installed height in the instructions, though it's probably in japanese. Most decent machine shops should be able to set up the springs for you.

thanks guys for the help as menchioned came with instructions but all in japanese, and yeah "take the head to someone whos done it before." well thats wat im triing to find out, who has done these springs before :laugh:

Im sure nismoid can recommend a good head place in VIC
