Pity they're a cast iron boat anchor Al!! :)

Just jokes, I am jealous of your RB25/30 power outputs but not the extra weight involved... but you have 160rwkw's more than me at 100km/h... that's depressing ;)

Try Winton out in October mate, hopefully we'll get some decent weather.

Ben: lol :D

That was more of a "dig" at Bris :)

I also wouldn't fark the balance of a 180, by fitting an rb into it.

When flat footed, in 3rd, things get "interesting" at about 80km/h.

October hey.... Any threads up yet? What type of track day is it?

We all know that an rb30 conversion is where it's at! :P

Slap on a 550hp Garrett and you have 320+rwkw with better response than a std/factory rb25 setup :P

I am tempted to take mine to the next Winton track day, whenever that is, have been giving some serious consideration :bunny:

Below is an older power curve. My car now makes 330.6rwkw with even better response and more torque; as we have since adjusted the cam gears and done a retune

I will post it again. RB30s are for people who rather roofies then romance and who think handjobs off hookers isnt include as paying for sex

May be time for a used OS Giken SR20 gearset. I have been on the lookout. If i find some i will let you know.

Blolody VLs and Silvias eating up the supply of engines and gearboxes...also the bloddy R31 GXE crowd :(

LOL, there,

Do NA R33 boxes fit and share the same ratios?

LOL, there,

That sounds easy to find mate... lol

Interestingly, popped over to my race car building mate over the road yesterday, he has a partially busted 6 speed HKS GTR gearbox there. The transfer has been cut off it for RWD. It's not a getrag, its an early box.... I'd nearly forgotten HKS did thissetup, they did didn't they? lol

Anyone know where to source the bits to fix it, who made the stuff? it's wierd, it has oval dogs instead of Aussie style back-ground dogs.

well an update for my silvia.

I'm taking some time off in the next couple of weeks to sort out a few little things on it.

install some cams. going to go with greddy easy cam, 256 in 264 ex 10.5mm lift on both

install exhaust tip extension. yes it sounds gay but currently exhaust doesn't extend past the uras bar and it's getting destroyed (fatz give me back my tip you carnt)

get air con re-gassed. NEED AC!

get diff backlash set properly (diff whine is annoying)

raise height (yes it looks awesome low but the trust PEII exhaust is getting destroyed and I think it will handle better with some suspension travel)

install some new seats, either 32 GTR or 34 GTR for street duty, will keep current race seat for track use

install the Trust intercooler kit and piping I've had sitting around for it for ages.

may swap out the walbro fuel pump for a nismo or sard (it seems ok, but I just have no faith in them, it would not have been my choice)

may need to upgrade the nismo 555cc injectors to some blitz 850cc ones. especially if I go for an E85 tune.

may swap out the HSD coil-overs for either some buddy club racing spec dampers or some cusco zero 2s. both are quite good.

then get it tuned to about 22 or 23psi with the cams and new intercooler and piping hoping it will crack out a fat 250rwkw on pump 98. and if I'm keen I may get an E85 tune and go for 270 or 280.

BIG LIST! but it's going to be so cool when finished. oh, and will get the front bumper repaired from where troy farked it... lol.

Was thinking that the ride height is nice and low...i know i run mine higher and it looks gay for it. I am not fast so have to remember to look and sound it ;)

I have another date with a Caterham, this time an R300 race car. I wonder if the magic has worn off or after driving it i am still going to be hungry for one?

Sorry I'm late guys, but I measured those ride heights for you.... centre of wheel to gaurd.

Front - 322mm

Rear - 332mm
