how many numbers do you usually get at these? dare say ill be up for it but ill comfirm bit closer to the date

brett

We had about 180 entrants in 2006, not bad for the events first year, were are hoping to crack 200 cars this year, ranging from the Prince to the current Crop of JDM goodness.

This event will not be run again till 2010, and it wont be in vic either so I hope we can make it a big one this year.

Breaking news everyone.

After months of phone calls, emails and the complete lack of return phone calls and emails, CSA President went up to Winton yesterday to get this sorted. Winton were simply not going to let us have their track because of the actions of another club which had Nissan and Datsuns in it.

Long story short, after a very long day, two people off work and 550 kays on the family truckster, we have now secured Winton Raceway for the Skyline nationals.

Not on the day we wanted though. We have the Saturday, not the Sunday, SOOOoOOOOOOOO,

Concourse or show and shine has had to be moved to the Sunday, (Yes I know it's not ideal, but the best we could do) and the sign in has been moved to Friday at the Park Lake (Now the Country Comfort) hotel between 3pm and 6pm on the Friday the 25th. Shepparton council were once again fantastic in helping us to move the day around. These guys are just awesome.

I apologise to everyone for the short notice of this. There has been nothing I could do to get a better outcome. Emails and phone calls to Winton have been going on since October last Year. We have had initial contact with Winton in May last year, and had a confirmation from them in July last year. They have handled this very badly, and if anyone could have been there yesterday, they would have seen how they simply just don't care.

Anyhoo, 6 weeks to go everyone, get your bloody entries in.

One month to go. Link to all the forms and downloads - www.skylinenationals.com Get on board this one guys and gals, it was absolutley huge last year, and with Winton, its gonna be even bigger.

Phone details etc:

And if you want to see these cars - in the flesh, and also racing at Winton, Be there. We have also had 99 percent confirmed that there will be an extra special car there, yes even more special that Rod, Terry and Gavin's beauties. Rod and Terry had a ball last time, that they asked me if they could come again.

Only 3 spots left for Winton. I expect these to be filled within the next day or two. With all of the hype attached to this event, it is well worth attending even as a spectator. If you would like to go on the waiting list, let me know.

So can someone please tell me when the track day is? I want to bring up the GTR.

I looked on the website and it says it is on Sunday on the homepage, but on the event info page it says it is Saturday. I tried to email from their site but the email address is wrong and keeps bouncing back.

We have been having some trouble changing old information on our website and here, (No edits)

But the race day is Saturday, you can come up to watch, but unless we have a some one cancel or you have already paid, winton is now full. show and shine is on sunday, plenty of spots avalible for that

As per a few posts ago, we had some trouble with Winton and a double booking. So just to confirm, Winton is on SATURDAY. Show and Shine is on SUNDAY. Track opens at 8am, and srutineering starts at 8.30.

    • Yeah one of the first things I out in when I started having catch can filling up issues. Still prefer to empty 1-2 times a track day rather than every session
    • You'll find this link is probably more useful  Performance Turbochargers - Garrett - G GT GTX GTW Series Turbo TBG G35 1150 map may not even get added to my list depending on how it looks, the G35 1050 already is a mixed bag for making the numbers you would expect from the compressor map due to mismatch - I don't know how another 10lb/min of compressor flow is going to make that any better.   I've left out others for similar reasons as it's already getting quite big.   In terms of Precision, provide me with legit compressor maps for them and I'll do my thing   I'll add some more of the newer Xona Rotor options are they're pretty boss, I'd take a 68mm Xona over a G35 "1150" any day of the week - or Precision for that matter.
    • Ahh got it. Well maybe install a drain for the catch can somewhere down low and accessible like a wheel well too....
    • Before you blow your car up, have you checked you've made all the correct modifications to the wiring if you're still using the RB20DE loom?   Some things to look at: The pin used for the map sensor on the RB25DET, is the same pin used on the RB20DE for the Ring Gear Crankshaft Position Sensor, no idea what you've got it plugged into now. The turbo pressure control valve solenoid you're talking about on the RB25DET, the same pin is used for the Variable Air Intake Control Valve on the RB20DE.   The factory manual has the wiring pinouts in it for you to check everything. It also has the diagnostics process to read codes out. In addition, there's a great table that shows what sensors and what actuators not functioning will relate to which signals. And Nissan confirm the as everyone else has from experience, the Solenoid being disconnected won't cause a fuel cut. However, the turbo pressure sensor being missing / wrong, WILL cause a fuel cut. https://www.nicoclub.com/service-manual?fsm=Skyline%2FR34-Workshop-Manual-English.pdf
    • I've been hunting info on the G Series II - this is best I have found so far(Link below). Still waiting on the G35-1150 comp map, kind of very keen   So how do we go about getting precision on that little table of yours ?   https://turbosbytm.com/sites/default/files/product/technical-info/Garrett-G-Series-II-Product_Flyer 25 30 35_1.pdf
