It depends on what you want?

235 is cheap and a common size since commodore use it, 245 is what falcons use standard.

225 is a good fit for a 8.5 inch wide wheel,

but as i said it depends on what you want them for - handling, straight line grip, looks (stretch).... or any other reasons.

If you want grip go 235 all round, but if you have big power go 265 on the rear. If you want looks go for the 225.

There isnt much difference but with thinner tyres you will get better fuel economy since having less tyre to move.

Due to their common use and good price, I suggest going for 235's all round. They would be the best medium.

sorry to piggyback, but what size tyres should i go for with 17x9.5? this is for a gtr.

this site (http://www.pneus-online.co.uk/equivalency-tables-advice.html) says 245 minimum - which is the size i'd like to go for as it appears quite common and not too expensive.

i guess i'm after looks on a daily driver...any ideas?
