R32 Gtr Cusco Cage

Recommended Posts

Gagz,

this is a quality cage that will go in with no cuts or removal of any interior, the only cuts are small carpet ones in around the mounts on the floor - just slice here and there to make it slide over and cover up , or alternatively leave as is and mount over the carpet. It bends beautifully around the dash and is very unobtrusive. I had Purple padding - but the best and cheapest is the air conditioning insulation you can get at Bunnings for it is slimmer and has a larger ID.

Would you like pics of it in the car as i am taking out this week end?

regards

Dave

Hi Exxu1,

Could you please post some pics and where are the mounting points, will it go into a standard interior without interior modification or do you have to cut it up to fit?

Cheers!

Hey,

That would be great if you could take pics of it in the car....very interested.

Thats great that no interior modification is needed as mine is in mint condition and thats the way i want to keep her.

To mount it, do you just drills holes and bolt it to the floor or do you need plates welded on? Maybe if you could get a couple of pics of the mountings as well, that would be very helpful.

Cheers!

Gagz,

i shall take some pics for you today, no welding of plates etc, just drill holes and bolt up to backing plates underneath car - very simple and made for this car. The aluminium plates are curved for inside the rear wheel arches and the others for underneath the floor pan are cut to size and fit well. Cage comes with all plates - bolts , nuts and spring washers.. Will send pics later.
