Ok guys i have an R33 GTST S1.5

Current mods are

*K/N Pod filter

*Cat Back Blitz Nur Spec R Exhaust........think 3inch

*Apexi AVCR Boost controller

Ok so i think my coils are buggered because if i up the boost to about 11psi at around 4500rpm it runs like crap.....any suggestions?

So the plans are to get a

3inch Dump/Front pipe..........What should i do about the cat?

Split fire coils

High Flow turbo T3/T4 and run a max of 13psi

Apexi SAFC

With this combo should i hit the 200rwkw mark

Now on to my next question

Where in sydney should i take it to get a tune......need cheap and quality

Regards

Mick

i was making 204 rwkw with the following

- turbo back exhaust and high flow cat

- pod

-avcr (.95bar)

- fmic

-stock turbo

its a good tune that will make the car just as long as you have done the basic mods.

put in cam gears and pfc and made 224rwkw at .95bar

damn....sounds just like mine..

i have turbo back exhaust, fmic, pod, profec ii at .85 and stock ecu and made 202.6kw....

so you only put cam gear and pfc and made 224 of stock turbo at say 13psi?

Maybe i should invest in pfc....

hey simon that rb20 ecu is really interesting........how much does a full remap and tune cost for one.?

also if i just plugged in the 20 ecu would the car run as normal or needs to be remapped first>?

you should think about getting the eeprom copied im sure alot of people would be interested in buying that....

The Map is not mine to sell, Mate of mine does the tuning for a reasonable price either way  See my sig for details for The Speed Lab

As for the ECU, it is plug in and the car will probably start and idle but it wont be driveable thats for sure (rb20 has smaller injectors) so your best bet would be to leave the 33 ecu in there and drive to the tuner. Or get the 32 ecu epromed, buy chip from TSL and plug it in and drive it, Would be best to get it on a dyno to check everything before you really drive it hard tho.

As for price, ECU cost me 50 and the mapping/dyno time averages around 300-400 including chip install

I have a series 2 engine in the car will the rb20 ecu still work? sounds like a much better investment than the safc 2 i just bought. apparently the safc2 i bought has a 192rwkw tune on it.....how safe is it to run that tune on my car......

I have a diagnostic tool that i can monitor the knock signal and rich/lean mixtures while driving......if i have no detonation or continual rich/lean running .......it should be alright yes?

:D
