R33 suspension mods

Can anyone recommend suspension modifications for an R33 GTS25T for track days, ie., Supersprints? Better still can anyone recommend a Skyline specialist to do the work? I live near Nowra but I guess I would have to go to Sydney to get same.

I have fitted 17x8's with 235x45x17 street legal competition tyres but the car has stock springs, shocks and ride height.

Whiteline have a suspension kit, details on the web site. 2Rismos car was the development car so you might want to pm him to see what he thinks about it. The kit should be able to be sent to pretty much any suspension shop since the developments already been done.

I have the Whiteline kit im my R32 GTSt, and very happy with it. If you are looking for a road car setup that will look after you on the track then it is a good compromise.

That said i drove an R33 with Nismo castor rods and susension arms, with HKS coil overs... and oh my god. On normal road rubber i was matching, on some corners quicker then the corner speeds in my car with semi slick tyres. But rides pretty hard on the road.

Either way speaking to whiteline would be a good place to start, i understand they are a distributer for Drummond coil overs as well if you want to get really serious. They should be able to find a setup to suit you.

I have already been pointed in the Whiteline direction by two other members and have acted immediately. I had the full kit - springs, shocks, bushes with caster camber adjustment and adjustable bars installed by Selby South Coast.

July 20 and 21 at Winton will be the acid test.

P.S. you're right about the ride - it's very firm but I guess I'll get used to it.
